Goddess before me

Goddess before me

Skimming down the paths of the sky’s bright ether
On they brought you over the earth’s black bosom,
Swiftly–then you stood with a sudden brilliance,
Goddess, before me;

Sappho’s Hymn to Aphrodite

This hymn of a desperate lover inspired me for this post.  In Sappho’s fantasy, Aphrodite comes to her call, to ease her pain, promising to grant her the passion of the one her heart desired.

Fantasy-2

And what better for such inspiration, than walking through some of the best fantasy events in Second life? I found this beautiful Marcia outfit, by Les Encantades, at the Jackpot Gacha. I was lucky enough to get the ultrarare, which includes a multicolor HUD for the top, skirt, and headdress. It certainly looks divine combined with my Auriel Wings -Bronze by Axix, a rare (yay!) from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.

The perfect complement came also from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival: my Guardian of the Stars Gold Boots -for Maitreya Lara- and that regal matching Ward -another rare!- by Zenith.
