Before the dawn

My inspiration today was the beautiful temple dancer Nikiya and the tragic story of her love with the warrior Solor, an old story from an older era. I see her waiting for his return from the latest battle, with eager heart and loving eyes, in a time before the sad machinations of jealousy and dark fate.

She waits on the beautiful Sovereign Born Chaise Set, one of the wonderful creations by The Roawenwood. The textures are exquisite and it includes several single and couple animations, which you can also adjust to your size. This was an exclusive design for the Treasure Chest, but if you missed it back then, you can still purchase the March Chest at its full price.

This lovely dancer is also wearing several items that I found at one of my favorite events, the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. The sensual outfit is one of the rare items from Devious Minds, and the jewelled hair is one of the rares from Aisling.

I added the Metal Vintage hand accessories from Yasum, also available at the FGC, and the sweet Aztec Dream nose piece by Zuri Jewelry, with gemchanging options.

But Nikiya won’t stay much longer. A tall, familiar figure appeared from the other side of the glass, smiling at her…

Masked lovers search for each other while the music comes alive, playing the guessing game between drinks and dances. “I play the tambourine”, hints the tall stranger. “I prefer the guitar”, she playfully answers from behind the feathers of her mask.

The Carnival is a vibrant, wonderful celebration in the tropical lands where my roots used to lay. Tonight I celebrate it with style, wearing this sumptuous gown made by Silvan Moon. It’s called the “Fairy Godmother”, and you can still find it for a few more days exclusively at Enchantment. A dream of fantasy, this gown also includes a delicate pair of wings, which I’m not wearing today.

I chose a special jewelry set from the fantasy collections of Zuri Jewelry, the Dark Faith, Elite version (gem change, metal change). I liked how the feathers complemented my mask, and the delicate flexi parts subtly followed the pace of my dance.

Yes, yes, I know Oktoberfest was like two months ago. But I’m wearing a Dirndl. Not just any Dirndl, this happens to be the most beautiful Dirndl I saw in SL so far. This is the last wonder created by Silvan Moon for the present round of Enchantment (ends tomorrow!): the Woodcutter’s Daughter Dirndl. Let me sing its praises and toast to it.

Realistic, historically/culturally accurate, and perfectly rigged for classic avatars and Maitreya friendly. The richness and details of the textures contribute to make it look fantastic, while it moves with your avatar’s animations just as real fabrics would. It’s available in several colors.
