Like most powerful spells, stories have their own incantation, the magical formula that announces the beginning of the fantasy. Every language has their own “Once upon a time”. She grew up and now, more than ever before, she still needs stories to remember and forget, to understand the meaning of her world.

I went down the proverbial rabbit hole all the way to Enchantment, and lost myself in the fascination of Lewis Carroll’s fantasy. My version of the Duchess is wearing the amazing Iracebeth gown by Silvan Moon Designs, inspired by the Queen of Hearts. It’s available in several colors, and of course the iconic black/red. The tea cup chairs behind her are the beautiful new creation by The Roawenwood. I plan to showcase them again, but I could not resist showing them off.

The Duchess’ stern face is the new Clover skin by 7 Deadly S{k}ins, created for the Designer Showcase. I chose the browless version included in the pack, and added wrinkles by Izzie’s from the last Skin Fair.

In nomine Patris… I believe I still remember a prayer, maybe it’s not too late to be saved. I feel the weight of many worlds, even the fabric of my sumptuous Lucrezia gown seems to carry some sorrow. This beautiful dress was created for the Fantasy Faire by Les Encantades. The mists have already taken away the mystic Fairelands, but the magic remains. You will find it soon at the main store.

The perfect complement was this amazing Isabella d’Este hairstyle from Oblivion from last round of We ❤️ RP. I love the authenticity in these designs. I had a little fun putting them together, as Isabella was Lucrezia’s rival for a long time… but I digress.

Lacrymosa dies illa… She lights a candle with all the strength of her wishes, almost as expecting something mystical to happen. The light flickers on the gems of her Sweet Elegance cross-shaped necklace, one of the latest creations by Zuri Jewelry, reflecting on her warm maple-tone Yoga skin, created by 7 Deadly S{k}ins exclusively for eBento.

It feels like it was last year. I was the sweet maiden who waited for you to come back from your quests, with hopeful eyes and tender arms. My skin has withered and my hair thinned, but when you take my hand and I get lost in your eyes, I still feel that I’m your beautiful young bride. Time stays and is ours.

I found my inspiration in the latest wonderful creation from Roawenwood, the Tarkhan Set, currently available at We ❤ RP. The cozy fireplace has controls to change the fire settings, and sparks and smoke are optional. The candelabra and wall sconces add perfectly to the atmosphere, and can be turned on and off.

I’m wearing the lovely Amarie gown by Les Encantades (gacha!), matched with a head piece/hair from Oblivion. The painting above the fireplace comes from one of my previous posts, in which the young maiden is waiting for her love to arrive.
